Watershed Awakening Chardonnay

This Chardonnay for the Awakening
range has been produced using handpicked
fruit from the Watershed estate
vineyard.
100% barrel fermentation in New and 1yr
old selected French oak barriques with the
use of wild yeast has produced a wine with
great complexity.
The wine exhibits intense citrus aromas
accompanied with notes of spice and roasted
cashew nuts.
On the palate, the dense creamy texture is
complemented by grapefruit notes,
followed by a long spicy and biscuity finish.
This wine can be enjoyed now or with
cellaring will develop for the next 5yrs.
